I’m Evan Spears. I write, draw, and self publish my own comic books. I’m pretty cool, obviously.
I’ve exhibited comics and other works at Long Beach Comic Con, Long Beach Comic Expo, San Diego Comic Con, West Hollywood Book Fair, Los Angeles Zine Fest, Inland Empire Zine Fest, Riverside Arts Walk, Eclipse Gallery and Attraction Industries.
I once loaned a roll of tape to Tone Rodriguez at a comic convention and I totally geeked out super hard once I realized who he was. Another time, it blew my mind that I was just a few tables away from Bernie Wrightson. And one time, Steve Niles held up one of my comics and let me take a picture of him after my tablemate and I flagged him down, accidentally interrupting an Aaron Sorkin-esque walk-and-talk interview by doing so. I love comic book conventions. They’re magical.
